Venue: To be arranged

Email: David Smith, phone: 01604 845965

AGM Venue RequiredOur AGM will be held at a venue to be arranged. As usual the formal business will take approximately half an hour, followed by presentation of awards, and coffee/biscuits! We then devote the rest of the evening to our guest speaker, Pete Doherty our excellent IAM RoadSmart Area Service Delivery Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity to meet up with other members, to question the group about its policies/procedures, and having a general discussion on group activities. Once you have done that, sit back and enjoy a talk from Pete Doherty.

We look forward to welcoming all full, associate and guest members.

As you can see from the advert, we are looking for a venue for this year's AGM. If you know of a venue that maybe suitable, please let us know! Many thanks.

3-In-A-Car

Date: Sunday, Spring 2019, 9.30 a.m. start

Venue: Harlestone Firs car park, Harlestone Heath, Harlestone Road, Northampton NN5 6UJ

Email: Tess Moore

This is an informal way for you to keep in touch with advanced driving. The sessions are designed for both Associates and Full Members and their purpose is to assist you in maintaining your high standards. We will meet at the Harlestone Firs car park, along main road by Wyevale Garden Centre at 9.30 a.m. (the garden centre does not open until 10 a.m !).

When you arrive, we will assign you into a group of three (sometimes two - or even four) that includes an Observer. One of you will elect to drive first in your own car for 20 minutes or so on a course either of your choice or directed en-route. Someone else elects to go next in their own car - and so on until they’ve all had a turn. The second driver will aim to arrive at the Harlestone Heath Wyevale Garden Centre at approximately 10 a.m. where we will all meet up for late breakfast!

There is likely to be a good deal of helpful banter during TiC sessions so most points will be covered as you go round, but at the end of each drive there will be an opportunity for you all to enjoy a short and sometimes entertaining de-brief!

The whole thing is done and dusted in around 2.5 hours, it’s completely free of charge and it's good fun. No records are made of the drives - but there's usually plenty of advice available!!

It would help us to know who is attending, although you can still turn up! Please let Tess Moore know if you are interested.
